Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position available in North Carolina. This role involves delivering comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations, including outpatient echocardiograms, in a clinical environment. The technician will be responsible for identifying patient needs, performing imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality assurance, all while adhering to established clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The professional may be floated to additional locations as needed.
• Required Qualifications: No experience required; candidate must hold an accredited associates degree in sonography, radiology, or a related field, or complete a twelve-month ultrasound program. Certification requirements include RDCS certification through ARDMS, RCS, ACS, or RCCS certification through CCI. CPR (BLS) certification is also required.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: The position entails performing outpatient echocardiograms, monitoring patient data, generating ultrasound images of the heart and vascular structures, and potentially providing staff training and education. Equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting are integral to the role. The work environment involves supporting patient care pre- and post-procedure, along with timely room preparation.
