Job Summary
Virginia MRI Technologist The facility is seeking an MRI Technologist for a night shift position at a busy imaging center. The role involves operating high-field GE 3T and 1.5 GE MRI equipment, providing exceptional patient care, and working independently in a fast-paced environment. The position requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Job Details

• Position: MRI Technologist
• Location: Fairfax, Virginia
• Schedule: Nights, Friday through Monday, 16:00 to 02:30 (10 hours per day), with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) licensed in MRI, BLS certification (must be AHA), at least 2 years of experience in MRI imaging, strong customer service skills, strong IV skills, ability to work independently, and familiarity with high-field GE MRI systems (GE 3T and 1.5 GE).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a busy imaging center, excellent communication skills, and experience with Epic electronic medical record module Radiant.
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a dynamic environment with a mix of inpatient and outpatient imaging. Call rotations occur weekly, and weekend shifts are included with expectations to float as needed within the facility. Holiday coverage includes one major and one minor holiday annually.
