Description

Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient position in Alexandria, Virginia. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy, primarily focusing on patients with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. The position requires flexibility with start times and includes weekend and holiday work.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, starting at approximately 7:30 or 8:00 AM, with 8-hour shifts, a minimum of 40 hours per week, and coverage from Tuesday through Saturday.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Virginia licensure required, with 1-2 years of experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation. Experience with neuro populations such as CVA, TBI, SCI, and cardiac or orthopedic patients preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient rehabilitation experience, neuro experience.
  • Additional Information: Must have access to Epic electronic medical record system. Candidate should be available for at least one weekend shift per week, including every Saturday if applicable, with some flexibility for start times and shift arrangements.
