Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist at Wenatchee, Washington. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care in a healthcare facility, including administration of medications, artificial airway management, and mechanical ventilator monitoring. The role requires clinical expertise and adherence to safety protocols to support patient respiratory needs.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Washington State License; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry eligible, certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); graduate of an approved respiratory care school; EPIC electronic health record experience; BLS, ACLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
  • Job Functions: Responsible for the safe administration of medications, following therapeutic modality indications and contraindications, setting up and monitoring oxygen therapy, performing artificial airway care including deep blind tracheal suctioning, measuring respiratory devices, managing mechanical ventilators, setting up and administering CPAP, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be proficient in monitoring and troubleshooting respiratory equipment, performing airway care, and documenting clinical notes accurately
