Job Summary:
A Radiology - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist position is available in Broomfield, Colorado. This role involves operating MRI equipment, performing imaging procedures, and supporting the department during a 10-hour night shift schedule. The technician will be responsible for ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Broomfield, Colorado
• Schedule: 10-hour night shifts, typically every other Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with call responsibilities including one night per week and one weekend per month.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR); minimum experience of 2 years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience on GE MRI scanners, and familiarity with Epic Electronic Medical Record and PACS imaging software.
• Additional Information:
  • Department has one GE 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner.
  • No floating to other areas required.
  • Responsible for starting IVs as needed.
  • Imaging volume averages 30 scans per day.
  • In-house and online radiologists available.
  • Department specific scrub dress code: black pants and royal blue top.
  • Department uses Epic for charting.
  • Facility cancellation policy permits up to four shifts cancellation in a 13-week assignment.
  • Orientation occurs in the state for the week prior to assignment.
  • Profile review and interview with the unit manager are required during the hiring process.
  • Self-scheduling is not specified; shifts are set.
