Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) position in Ashland, Wisconsin. This role involves providing outpatient occupational therapy services in a healthcare setting, with a primary focus on acute inpatient and surgical orthopedic patients. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care across various diagnoses such as shoulder arthroplasty, pediatric cases, hand and upper extremity injuries, pelvic floor, vestibular, and splint making.

Job Details:

• Location: Ashland, Wisconsin
• Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; Wisconsin state license or application in place; minimum of 1 year of experience; previous EPIC experience is preferred; outpatient experience is a plus.
• Department: Occupational Therapy
• Patient Volume: Generally 8 outpatient patients per day; inpatient varies between 5-12 patients.
• Coverage Areas: Acute inpatient and surgical orthopedic patients; outpatient services dependent on previous experience.
• Certifications Needed: BLS Certification
• Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday, days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours/week
• Department Orientation: Yes
• Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel up to 24 hours in advance for the 13-week assignment.
• Charting System: EPIC
• BSN Required: No
• License to Submit: Yes
• Trauma Level: CAH
• Care Setting: Inpatient Acute
• Additional notes: The candidate should investigate housing options prior to submission. Outpatient experience and prior travel experience are preferred. The role may involve working in inpatient or outpatient settings based on experience.
