Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Technician in Austin, Texas. This contract position involves supporting the electrophysiology laboratory with procedures such as ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart interventions. The role requires a proactive and flexible team player to ensure smooth daily operations within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Position Title: Electrophysiology (EP) Technician
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist), or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); minimum of 1 year of cath lab or electrophysiology scrub experience; valid license or certification in relevant field; location within Texas preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Greater than 1 year of scrub experience in cath lab or electrophysiology lab.
- Responsibilities: Assisting with electrophysiology procedures including ablations, device implants and extractions, and structural heart interventions. Ensuring compliance with facility policies, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent patient care support.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible with daily tasks, work cohesively with team members, and adhere to dress code (scrubs in blue provided by the facility). The unit features modern electrophysiology mapping systems, including Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic equipment.
