Description

Job Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in pediatrics is needed in the Atlanta area. This role involves providing intensive respiratory care in a pediatric setting, including the intensive care unit (ICU), emergency department (ED), and general pediatric care areas. The position offers 12-hour daytime shifts with an every-other-weekend requirement, and candidates must be open to floating across different units.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour days, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), active Georgia license, minimum 2 years of pediatric critical care experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Emergency Department (ED). Must be registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RT).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Level I trauma centers highly preferred.
  • Additional Information: Must be willing to float across ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas. The facility is nicotine-free, and candidates must pass testing along with drug screening. The employer exclusively requires the flu vaccination for the 2025-2026 flu season without exemptions.
