Job Summary
The organization is seeking a certified Ultrasonographer specializing in echocardiography for a position located in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures, including acquiring high-quality echocardiographic and vascular data to support patient care. The selected candidate will also provide education and training to medical staff and students, contributing to the communitys health and educational excellence.
Job Details
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: High school education or equivalent; Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program; effective verbal and written communication skills; self-motivated with ability to work independently; AHA Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification; prior cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound experience in a healthcare environment; minimum of 3 solid years of cardiac sonographer experience (considering 2 years if at an academic teaching hospital); registered in cardiac ultrasound (ARDMS; RCS via CCI acceptable).
- Additional Information:
- Non-billable orientation hours totaling 12 hours, with no guaranteed hours during orientation.
- Call-Off Policy: Client can call off up to 36 hours every 13 weeks.
- Local candidates are not accepted; a 100-mile radius restriction applies.
- Position involves use of Philips EPIQs ultrasound equipment, Intellispace electronic medical record system, and EPIC charting system.
- The role may include providing education and training on ultrasound procedures to fellows, interns, and staff.
- Client requires a minimum of 2 years of travel experience and prefers candidates with experience in a healthcare environment performing all types of cardiac ultrasound.
