Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray imaging is needed at a healthcare facility located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures across inpatient, emergency, outpatient, and bedside settings, with opportunities to work in operating room and fluoroscopy environments. The role is part of a 7/70 night shift program, requiring the candidate to work 70 hours biweekly over a schedule of seven consecutive days on, followed by seven days off.
Job Details:
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Schedule: Night shift, 10-hour shifts, 70 hours per biweekly pay period, working the 3rd shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM under the 7/70 program (seven days on, seven days off)
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Technologist) certification, Wisconsin State Radiographer License, completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, associate degree in radiology or a related field, or a bachelors degree in radiology or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in the specialty area. Must be able to work independently.
- Charting Experience: Epic charting highly preferred; Radiant and Phillips PACS systems required
- Skillset: Proficiency with Siemens Multix plain film equipment, GE and Carestream portable units, GE OEC C-arm, Orthoscan mini C-arm, Siemens Agile fluoroscopy; strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and equipment operation; excellent interpersonal and analytical skills to interact with patients and health care team members; ability to lift and position patients.
- Additional Information: Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; scrub colors can be any professional scrubs. Flu vaccination is required; religious or medical exemptions are not permitted. During holiday weeks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve), holiday work is required.
