Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric Specialty located in St. Louis, MO. This position involves providing respiratory care for a diverse patient population, including respiratory patients throughout all areas of the hospital, SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, neuro, and trauma units. It requires a confident, efficient therapist with strong time management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 3x12 shifts, 0630 1900; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) with the Missouri Board for Respiratory Care; BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association; at least 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS certification; experience with blood gas draw, blood gas processing on GEM, and blood gas interpretation.
• Float: Float rotation may be required as per facility needs.
• Additional Information: The unit primarily cares for respiratory patients across all hospital areas, including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, neuro, and trauma units. The role involves managing ventilators, high flow oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions within a high-volume, critical care environment. Dress code is black scrubs, with no unacceptable attire allowed.
