Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an X-ray Technologist for an immediate opportunity in Eureka, California. This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting, utilizing advanced radiologic equipment. The role requires collaboration with medical staff to provide high-quality patient care during shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shift hours, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: California license, Fluoro certification, BLS certification, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, 0 years of experience required.
  • Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Fluoro.
  • Experience: 0 years required.
  • Knowledge & Skills: Ability to perform abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine (KUB), abdomen upright, ankle, barium enema-air contrast, barium enema-single contrast, barium swallow/esophagus, C-Arm procedures, cervical spine, chest routine, clavicle, contrast enema, elbow, emergency department procedures, femur, foot, forearm, GE, hand, ICU, knee, lumbar spine, NICU, operating room, orbits, PACS, pelvis, PICU, portable abdomen, portable chest, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, scapula, shoulder, skull, starting peripheral IVs, thoracic spine, tibia-fibula, Toshiba, upper GI series, wrist, Fuji Synapse.
  • Patient Population: Neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics.
  • Additional Requirements: Experience with Epic charting system, willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals, ability to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year), two references covering the last year, and valid California license in hand.
