Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Outpatient in Riverview, Florida. This position involves providing outpatient occupational therapy services, including hand therapy, splinting, and patient evaluations. The role requires hands-on experience, including the ability to create splints and manage full hand case loads, with a focus on patient safety, quality care, and professional development.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Certifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school, CPR certification, and active applicable license for the State of Florida.
• Experience: 6 months to more than 1 year of outpatient clinical experience, with specific hand therapy experience required.
• Required Qualifications: Must have hand experience and be comfortable making splints; degree in Physical Therapy; 6 months to over 1 year of outpatient clinical experience; active CPR certification; active license for Florida.
• Additional Information: Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician directions. Responsible for delegation and supervision of therapy services, ensuring functional treatment programs that facilitate patient return to community activities. Participates in patient, family, and student education, and adheres to safety procedures and organizational policies. Engages in professional development activities and maintains licensure in good standing.
