Description

Job Summary:
The position of Respiratory Therapist Registered is located in Aurora, Colorado. This assignment involves providing pediatric and neonatal critical care in a hospital setting, with a focus on respiratory therapy across Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environments. The role requires working the night shift and adhering to specific holiday and float requirements.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-Hour Nights | 6:45 PM 7:15 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary, licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), with prior travel assignment experience. Clinical experience includes a minimum of 3 years in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), 3 years in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), and 1 year in Pediatric Level 1 Trauma. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years in PICU, 4 years in NICU, and 2 years in Pediatric Level 1 Trauma.
  • Travel Required: Yes
  • Float: Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other practice areas within their clinical competence within the Denver metro area, up to thirty-five (35) miles from the original facility.
  • Additional Information: The assignment requires working observed holidays, including Thanksgiving (11/25, 11/26, and 11/27). No Requested Time Off (RTO) will be approved within the first two weeks of the assignment. Holiday and religious exemption requests related to seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted.
