Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient in Wallingford, Connecticut. This position involves evaluating assigned patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring effective patient progression toward discharge. The role requires serving as an educator to patients, families, and staff while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and safety protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; active or applicable license for the state where work will be performed; ability to perform in accordance with state practice act and maintain licensure in good standing; completion of a minimum of 0 years of experience in the role
• Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of previous assignments with the agency or organization is highly desired; experience working with outpatient populations is preferred
• Additional Information: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations using clinical reasoning; documents medical records accurately and promptly; participates in student programs providing a positive learning environment; pursues ongoing professional development; follows regulatory and organizational standards; adheres to safety policies and procedures; contributes to performance improvement initiatives
