The location is in Palm Beach County, Florida. The position is for an MRI Technologist at a prominent healthcare facility's main campus. This role involves working in the MRI department to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using GE equipment, with responsibilities that include maintaining patient safety and comfort, adhering to hospital policies, and operating advanced radiology technology.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (MRI) certification, current BLS certification, Florida state license or eligible, and at least 1 year of clinical MRI experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE MRI equipment and procedures specific to hospital imaging departments
- Additional Information: Positions require rotating call, holiday, and hurricane team participation. Floating policy applies, and adherence to unit specific policies and guidelines is required. The department has implemented advanced technology including GE equipment and utilizes Meditech documentation systems. The team consists of experienced staff with specialized skills, and staff are expected to maintain professional appearance in black scrubs.
