Job Summary
The organization is seeking a highly qualified Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist for a position located in Farmington, Connecticut. This role involves performing advanced MRI procedures on adult patients, including cardiac and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), within a dynamic clinical environment. The position requires adherence to established protocols and collaboration with medical staff to deliver quality imaging services.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week, with start times varying between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience; ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) advanced certification in MRI; EPIC experience; valid Connecticut state license upon start; BLS certification; active COVID-19 vaccine (medical or religious declinations allowed); active flu vaccine (medical or religious declinations allowed).
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience; proficiency in Cardiac MRI and Functional MRI procedures.
• Additional Information:
  • Orientation scheduled bi-weekly on Fridays, unless otherwise posted.
  • All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application.
  • The position requires mandatory overtime participation as part of the unit rotation.
  • Active Connecticut state license is not required at the time of submission but must be obtained prior to employment start date.
  • The candidate must be willing to work on-call rotations, holiday shifts, and varying schedules, including weekends.
  • No float rotation required; local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at lower background check fees.
