Description
Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services in a busy, high-acuity healthcare environment. The technician will support a department with advanced equipment and a fast-paced workflow, ensuring quality patient care and technical precision.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, Wisconsin License, BLS certification, zero to one year of experience in general radiology or related imaging procedures, ability to work in Milwaukee, WI.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fluoroscopy, ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases, and comfort with O-arm systems is advantageous.
- Support within the Department: Lead technologist on first shift; radiologists available 24/7; a team of 14 technologists on days, 7 on second shift, 3 on third shift; RT available 24/7; hospitalist and intensivist staff present 24/7.
- Technology/Equipment: EMR system EPIC, X-ray equipment (GE, Fuji, Del Medical), PACS (McKesson), C-arm (GE 9900 and Elites, Medtronic O-arms).
- Orientation: Seven days in department, in New Employee Orientation (NEO).
- Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation; one call shift per week (shifts from 0630-1400, 1400-2230, or 2230-0630); one holiday per contract.
- Other notes: Scrubs provided, free parking, work environment described as fast-paced with high patient acuity.
