Description
Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Ultrasonographer Echo (ultrasound technician specializing in echocardiography) for a position based in Eureka, California. This role involves performing diagnostic echocardiogram procedures on adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within an acute care hospital environment. The position begins on August 10, 2026, and offers a comprehensive work schedule and clinical responsibilities aligned with industry standards.
Job Details:
- Location: Eureka, California
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: California license in hand; Certifications including ARDMS, BLS, CCI, ARRT Sonography, RDCS Adult*; 2 years of ultrasound experience; Experience with Epic charting system; community hospital experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Echocardiography (NICU), advanced echocardiography procedures such as Bubble Study, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), and Treadmill Stress Echo.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be willing to work at least two of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). References covering 1 year of recent work are required. Travelers may be expected to float within the hospital or affiliate hospitals; refusal to float may impact assignment status. All required certifications and documentation must be submitted at the time of application.
