- Position: Respiratory Therapist (Registered) specializing in Pediatric Respiratory Therapy (RT PEDS)
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 (1830-0700)
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Openings: 1
- Experience: 2 years of pediatric/neonatal respiratory care experience required; minimum of 2 years preferred
- Required Licensure and Certifications:
- Current license in the state of practice
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Education: Graduate from an accredited college program in respiratory care
- Additional Requirements: Neonatal and pediatric intensive care experience required; flexible to float as per facility needs
- Unit Information: Approximately 62 beds across Pediatric, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU); equipment includes Draeger VN500, Hamilton G-5, Oscillator, Jet Ventilator
- Clinical Skills: Assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, assessing patient needs, implementing respiratory care interventions, and patient education
- Responsibilities: Ensuring patient safety and infection control policies, effective communication, collaboration with healthcare team, equipment management, and documentation accuracy
