Description
Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Clinical Laboratory (CL) specialist position is located in Burlingame, California. This role involves supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses by following clearly defined procedures to execute and analyze interventional radiology procedures. The selected candidate will integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to ensure safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a Cardiologist. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting between 07:00 and 10:00 AM.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, Fluoro Permit; valid California license; at least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiology Labs; experience with Cath Lab cases.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiology clinical laboratories is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The role involves accessing/managing ports, angiography procedures, catheterizations, vascular interventions, device placements, and various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the interventional radiology suite. It requires proficiency in managing sterile techniques and understanding complex imaging and intervention systems.
