Job Summary
Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across various therapy settings within the healthcare organization. The position requires assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and delivering services aimed at improving gait, transfer limitations, orthotic/prosthetic training, and wound care, under supervision.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, varied shifts, rotating days of the week, including weekends and holidays; weekly guaranteed hours of 40 hours.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS/CPR as per AHA standards; ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada State Physical Therapy license; at least two years of clinical experience in the respective departmental setting; relevant education and licensure requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in inpatient rehabilitation settings and familiarity with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to meet organizational needs up to the candidates competency level.
- Additional Information: The selected candidate may be required to pick up an additional shift during the schedule period. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and call shifts as needed. Prior clinical supervision responsibilities include overseeing physical therapy assistants and rehab technicians.
