Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) in Cleveland, Ohio. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients within the healthcare facility, including routine treatments, patient assessments, and collaboration with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans. The role emphasizes patient education, equipment operation, and adherence to safety and clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapist (Registered) certification, Ohio state licensure, 1 year of experience, and an educational background in respiratory therapy or related field
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care and advanced airway management
- Additional Information: Performs a wide range of respiratory procedures including ventilator management, arterial punctures, tracheostomy care, chest physiotherapy, and use of ventilatory equipment. Competent in interpreting chest x-rays, conducting pulmonary function tests, and participating in emergency resuscitations following BLS and ACLS guidelines. Maintains accurate documentation of treatments and communicates effectively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
