Job Summary
The Peoria, Illinois, located Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position involves providing specialized technologist services within the catheterization lab. The role includes scrub, monitor hemodynamics, and circulating responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment, supporting cardiologist procedures with on-site on-call support.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; Certifications: ARRT, BLS; Minimum experience: 2 years; Location requirements: Illinois; No minimum years of experience stated otherwise.
- Preferred Qualifications: Peds experience and McKesson cardiology PACS experience are preferred but not required.
- Department: Cath Lab, with 6 labs and an average of 10 to 15 cases per day.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Previous cath lab technologist experience preferred.
- Equipment/EMR: EPIC, PACS, and McKesson systems used.
- On-call Information: Cardiologist physicians are on-call 24/7; on-call shifts are rotational, with an expected response time of 30 minutes from page.
- Additional Notes: Orientation lasts 3 to 5 days; a mandatory call list is utilized when staff cannot fulfill their call shift. Scrubs are provided by the hospital; floating is not required at this time.
