Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Inpatient (PHARM IP) position is based in Wisconsin. This role involves working primarily in inpatient settings with rotating shifts, including third shift and secondary shifts as needed. The position requires clinical verification tasks and medication management within a hospital environment, with a focus on pediatric orders due to embedded pediatric hospital components.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, primarily 10-hour shifts on third shift (2100 to 0700) with rotation to second shift (1200 to 2200) as needed; work week typically begins on Wednesday. Hours vary between 30 and 40 hours per week during two-week pay periods.
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification (American Heart Association); Wisconsin pharmacist license (will accept ACT 10); minimum two years hospital experience; residency trained or three years of hospital experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with inpatient pharmacy roles; familiarity with sterile compounding and remote verification processes; comfortable working with standard pediatric orders.
• Additional Information: Pharmacy staff operate 24 hours in sterile and non-sterile roles, using systems such as Omnicell Automatics Dispensing Machines, Cerner Electronic Medical Record, and Pharmacy Keeper for remote verification. Business casual attire is required unless entering sterile environments, where facility scrubs are provided. Orientation lasts approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on specialization. The client may cancel shifts with up to 12 hours' notice every 13 weeks.
