Description
Job Summary:
Cytologist needed in Walnut Creek, California. This position involves preparing specimens and screening slides for abnormalities to assist pathologists. The assignment is scheduled to begin on August 11, 2026, with a duration of 13 weeks, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Cytotechnologist (CT) credential from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP); California Department of Public Health (CDPH) license; 3 years of experience in cytology; Bachelors degree in Science; ability to prepare specimens and screen slides for abnormalities for referral to the pathologist
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: IVS will review and the manager will make an offer.
