Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position located in York, Maine. This full-time role involves working a schedule of 12-hour daytime shifts on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, with potential variations based on census and holiday coverage. The position focuses on providing high-quality imaging services and ensuring patient safety in a hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, working Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates Degree or Certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program; ARRT registration; BCLS certification obtained within four months of hire and maintained thereafter
- Additional Information: Must provide care appropriate to patients of all ages, including geriatric and pediatric populations. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, screening patients for contraindications, educating patients on procedures, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Candidate must be influenza vaccinated as required by the State of Maine unless a Medical Exemption is provided and approved by Employee Health.
