Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Tucson, Arizona. This position involves independently providing respiratory care, pulmonary, and cardiology diagnostic testing to pediatric patients in a variety of healthcare settings. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and may include supervisory responsibilities. Job Details

Schedule: Nights shift with 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Associate or technical degree; proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); current license in Arizona or applicable state law; Blood Gas Technologist certification in Nevada (if applicable); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; knowledge of clinical techniques and equipment; at least one year of clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education or experience.
Additional Information: Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners, applies and manages mechanical ventilators, and conducts pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing. Assesses patients, documents care provided, and collaborates with team members to develop and modify care plans. May supervise department staff and be assigned to various healthcare settings as needed.
