Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) working in Erie, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing advanced respiratory therapy services under physician direction, including measuring arterial blood gases, operating ventilation equipment, and monitoring patient responses. The position requires delivering quality patient care across diverse patient populations with adherence to established protocols and safety standards.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Rotating day and night shifts.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Co ARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) approved Respiratory program; 2 years of experience; valid state License; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT) certification; NRP may be required for certain facilities.
- Additional Information: Provides respiratory therapy services including assessment, equipment setup, and patient monitoring. Responsible for maintaining patient charts and responding to code situations. Assists with transporting mechanically ventilated patients and performs pulmonary function tests. Works in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.
