Description
Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves performing diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures accurately and independently. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care, adherence to safety protocols, and proper operation of imaging equipment.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Nuclear (RT-N), BLS (American Heart Association), 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, within Springfield, Missouri area
- Preferred Qualifications: PET experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Candidates should have a satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT. The candidate must be capable of manipulating equipment, evaluating images, lifting and moving patients, and maintaining good communication skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
