Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Oxford, Florida. This 13-week assignment involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients, including ventilatory support, airway management, and patient education. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care within the scope of practice, following established protocols and procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, including Pediatric specialization, applicable certifications, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certification, previous pediatric care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Additional Information: Provides intensive respiratory therapy and patient transport, evaluates patient responses, manages ventilatory equipment, performs procedures such as chest physiotherapy, suctioning, arterial punctures, and airway management, including tracheostomy care and endotracheal tube management. Maintains accurate documentation, communicates with healthcare team, and ensures equipment functionality.
