Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric (RT PEDS), Macon, GA. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within a healthcare facility. The role includes assessing patient needs, performing treatments, and monitoring respiratory functions to support optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid respiratory therapy license, relevant pediatric respiratory care experience, located in or willing to work in Macon, Georgia, with at least 1 year of experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will provide quality patient care by administering treatments, operating ventilatory equipment, performing diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function studies and EKGs, assisting with invasive procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. Responsibilities also include equipment maintenance, patient education, and communication with medical staff regarding therapy effectiveness.
