Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiation Therapist (RTT) for a day shift position in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves providing radiation therapy treatments to adult and geriatric patients, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience, with qualified candidates being accepted for the first time as travelers.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (T) certification, ARRT (Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy), and at least 1 year of experience in radiation therapy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ARIA, Billing for treatment types and devices, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, CT Simulation, External Beam Therapy, Heterotopic Bone, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Keloids, Lift/transfer devices, Simulation of Treatment Sites, TrueBeam, Tumor Localization, Varis- Vision/ARIA, Vision RT, Wedges, Varian Edge.
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
- Additional Information: The position mandates floating to similar units within scope as needed, with brief orientation provided. Labs are to be completed within 48 business hours after contract signing. The facility maintains specific policies regarding travel compliance and licensing requirements, including a 50-mile local radius restriction and a one-year waiting period for previous staff returning as travelers.
