Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General position in Newberg, Oregon. This role involves performing a variety of general ultrasound exams with a focus on vascular, obstetric, and other diagnostic imaging procedures. The position offers a 12-hour shift schedule with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week, providing an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details:
- Position: Ultrasonographer General
- Location: Newberg, Oregon
- Shift: 12 hours per shift
- Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum, with shifts scheduled days only
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Radiologic or Ultrasonography fields, ARDMS OR ARRT certifications, BLS certification, Oregon licensure, 1 year of ultrasound experience, and ability to operate Philips ultrasound systems
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with general ultrasound exams, vascular studies, obstetrics, and Fetal Anatomical Survey
- Unit Details: Work areas include multiple rooms equipped with Philips and GE ultrasound units. Coverage spans outpatient, inpatient, and emergency cases, with a high volume of breast work, biopsies, vascular, obstetric, and gynecological exams. No procedures on weekends; coverage includes complex vascular cases and biopsies during weekdays.
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for travel within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Experience with EPIC charting system is required. Walk-in or direct contact with facility staff is not permitted unless coordinated through the appropriate channels.

- References: Two references covering the past year are required.
- Travel and Scheduling: Candidates should be prepared to float within allied facilities as needed. All scheduling requests and time off must be specified during submission. Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may result in contract termination.
