Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) in Anchorage, Alaska. The organization is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide inpatient therapy services in a 175-bed acute care facility. This position involves working a rotating schedule of days, including weekends, with 10-hour shifts, supporting the rehabilitation unit.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, or 8 days of 5 hours rotating schedule to include weekends (07:30 AM 6:00 PM or 07:30 AM 4:00 PM)
- Required Qualifications: Occupational Therapy (OT) Certification, valid state license, 1 year of experience, located in or willing to obtain licensure in Alaska
- Preferred Qualifications: Acute care experience, independent personality fit, ability to work in inpatient intensive care environment
- Schedule: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, start date on 09/07/2026
- Additional Information: Weekend rotation required, includes two to three weekends per month. Candidates must have Alaska state fingerprint and background clearance or be in provisional status prior to start. The unit utilizes EMR EPIC for documentation.
- Unit Information: Inpatient acute care unit with 175 beds, staff of approximately 60 therapy providers including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, pediatric therapists, and therapy assistants.
