Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position available in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services primarily in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting at a prominent healthcare facility. The assignment is scheduled to start on August 24, 2026, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care within a specialized pediatric environment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Fort Worth, TX
  • Shift Details: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) certification; current BLS certification; 2+ years of hospital experience; ICU, NICU, or Emergency Department experience; ability to draw ABGs; valid Texas state licensing; minimum 1 year of relevant experience within a healthcare setting
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Servo I ventilator; experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Units; advanced skills in patient airway management and ventilator management; familiarity with Meditech documentation system
  • Additional Information: The role involves performing procedures such as ABGs, assisting with intubation, nebulizer treatments, Metaneb therapy, BIPAP, and CPAP. Dress code requires black scrubs for Respiratory Therapy staff. Candidates should adhere to the organization's dress code policies, including neat and professional appearance with body art and piercings appropriately covered. Fluency in providing patient care across age groups with excellent customer service skills is essential. Floating rotation may be required based on operational needs.
