Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient position located in Arlington, Virginia. This role involves implementing therapeutic interventions, assisting with patient mobility and safety, and collaborating with healthcare team members to achieve patient long-term goals. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient setting with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school, CAPTE (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education) certification, six months of outpatient clinical experience, and CPR certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: The role requires assisting the Physical Therapist in executing treatment plans including posture training, strengthening exercises, balance activities, gait training, and modality use such as ultrasound and whirlpools. Responsibilities include monitoring patient responses, ensuring safety, maintaining documentation, and educating patients and families on body mechanics. Adheres to all safety, infection control, and clinic policies, and maintains a professional, customer-focused attitude.
