Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered specializing in Pediatric care in Jackson, Michigan. This position involves delivering life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gases therapy to patients, with responsibilities extending to performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures in various clinical settings. The role requires effective communication with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other healthcare staff, alongside supervising, delegating, and ensuring proper documentation of patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 13-week contract, Night shift; 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience; current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan; registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care; Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program; BLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Additional Information: The candidate will deliver life-support, resuscitation, and medical gases therapy, perform diagnostic procedures, and supervise and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students. Effective communication and accurate patient care documentation are essential.
