Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position in Colorado. This 13-week assignment or longer offers a flexible schedule with options for day shifts. The role involves providing outpatient care with a mix of acute care and swing bed services, supporting a variable bed capacity. The position is suitable for licensed professionals with recent outpatient therapy experience seeking a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Location: La Junta, Colorado
• Schedule: Mon-Thu, 10-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Required Qualifications: Relevant and recent physical therapy experience, current Colorado Physical Therapist license, current Basic Life Support certification, Master of Science in Physical Therapy, excellent electronic record navigation skills, willingness to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience, strong orthopedic skills, inpatient/acute care experience preferred, outpatient experience preferred, experience with Cedaron, APTA Connect, and Meditech electronic medical records.
• Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Additional Information: Position involves floating between outpatient and inpatient services with approximately 80% outpatient care and 20% inpatient acute care. Accepting clinicians with pending state licensure. The facility has variable bed capacity, generally fewer than five beds in the inpatient unit, with up to 25 beds in the acute care unit.
