Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position in Wichita. This role involves administering radiation therapy by exposing specific areas of patients' bodies to prescribed doses of radiation. The Radiation Therapist will prepare and position patients, select anatomical and technical parameters accurately, deliver treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists, and maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions. This position requires adherence to regulatory standards and ensures high-quality imaging and documentation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Radiation Therapist; relevant education or degree in Radiation Therapy; valid licensure or registration if applicable; location in or near Wichita; a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with linear accelerator equipment; familiarity with CyberKnife radiosurgery system.
• Additional Information: The Radiation Therapist will assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage areas. Responsibilities include ensuring all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and submitting high-quality images and documents to the picture archiving and communication system (PACS).
