Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) needed in the community of Tyler, Texas. This position involves providing therapeutic services within a home health setting, supporting patients' recovery and rehabilitation needs. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/08/2026, with a standard shift of 8 hours during daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Texas PTA license; residence outside the following counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris; 1 year of experience in physical therapy assistance; BLS certification; experience with outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and common therapeutic skills such as gait belt use, prosthetics, post-operative care, and management of chronic neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

- Additional Information: The candidate must complete onboarding core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing. Modules are completed onsite during orientation and are non-billable. All candidates must hold a state or compact license in hand at the time of submittal; license hits are not accepted. Prior staff members must wait at least 1 year before returning as travelers. Submissions must adhere to Ardent submission rules and compliance guidelines.
