Physical Therapy Assistant - Henderson Community
This position involves providing specialized physical therapy assistance within a community healthcare setting. The role supports patients across a range of diagnoses, including post-operative and chronic conditions, through various therapeutic interventions aimed at optimizing mobility and functional outcomes. The assignment begins on October 19, 2026, and concludes on January 18, 2027.
Job Details
- Location: Henderson community
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Certifications, Education, Degree, Location, and Experience Requirements: Texas Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License, 1 year of experience, and a minimum of 1 year of travel experience required
- Responsibilities include assisting with patient care for diverse conditions, including post-operative repairs, neurological disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic illnesses, utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques and equipment
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Schedule: Shift is scheduled for 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
- Submission Requirements: Must have a valid state PTA license in hand at time of application and meet compliance rules, including listing all time off requests at submission and waiting one year before returning as a traveler if previously employed as one in this location
