Job Summary
Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist in the cardiovascular specialty sector, located in the healthcare provider setting. This role involves preparing and monitoring patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures, ensuring sterile techniques, and maintaining procedural documentation. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on critical cardiac interventions such as electrophysiology studies, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure.
Job Details
- Position Description: Schedule from Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The role includes one to two weeknight call shifts and every fourth weekend.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiology program; AART registered; Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License; Cardiovascular Technologist registered; BLS Certification; ACLS Certification; 1 year of experience in electrophysiology.
- Additional Information: Verify package integrity and expiration dates on sterile supplies, prepare patient and equipment for sterile techniques, monitor and record procedural data, and ensure radiation safety by documenting fluoroscopy time and radiation doses. Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols during procedures.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
