Description

Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position available in Arlington, TX. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy, including neuro and orthopedic patient evaluations and treatments within a general hospital setting. The assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Days, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Number of Positions: 2
  • Qualifications: No minimum years of experience required; required certifications include an active Occupational Therapy license (no temporary licenses permitted); at least 2 years of hospital experience, specifically in inpatient rehab or hospital settings; current BLS certification.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience in rehab and/or acute hospital settings for 2-3 years.
  • Unit Specifics: Experience with Meditech documentation system. Must adhere to floating policy as needed.
  • Procedures: Conducting inpatient neuro and orthopedic patient evaluations and treatments, including acute evaluations for ortho, telemetry, and ICU units.
  • Dress Code & Policies:
    • Scrub color: Hunter Green
    • No artificial nails, gel nails, or next-gen nails; nails should be clean and healthy.
    • Hair should be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer.
    • Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
    • Visible piercings, other than earrings, are prohibited.
  • Additional Guidelines: Floating to antepartum/gynecology units may be required. Attendance policy as per organization standards.
