Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) specialized in inpatient care for a facility located in Arlington, Texas. The role involves providing acute care services within a long-term acute care hospital setting, with a focus on adult and older adult patient populations. The candidate will deliver therapy services, contributing to patient recovery and hospital operational goals.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Texas Physical Therapist License (or PT Compact License), BLS certification, 0+ years of experience, graduated from an accredited PT program, current PT license.
- Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience and strong acute care background.
- Additional Information: The facility has a capacity of 45 beds, with a mid-20s patient census, and utilizes ProTouch electronic health records. Responsibilities include mobilizing patients with ventilator/trach support, NGT/PEG, IVs, as well as handling cardiac chairs, hoyer lifts, and mobility equipment. The unit primarily services adult and older adult populations. Outgoing candidates capable of managing a fast-paced environment and full caseload are encouraged to apply.
