Job Summary:
Physiotherapist Assistant at a healthcare facility in Bowie, Maryland. This role involves assisting in delivering therapeutic interventions, promoting patient and employee safety, and supporting patients' functional goals. The position focuses on outpatient care for a diverse patient population with an emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school, CAPTE certification, at least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience, CPR certification, active state license, and minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with previous assignments with the agency or organization is highly desired; experience with the organization is considered a nice to have.
• Additional Information: Implements treatment plans under supervision, assists with therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strength and endurance exercises, gait training, and modality applications. Monitors patient responses, educates patients and families on body mechanics, maintains professional relationships, and documents progress. Ensures safety protocols are followed, maintains equipment, and promotes a customer service attitude.
