Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical Nurse (RN) or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT/RTR/RCIS) position available in Savannah, Georgia. This high-acuity unit features Angiography and Interventional laboratories, including hybrid operating room facilities, providing advanced vascular and stroke care. Known for its Level I Trauma Center certification and specialized stroke services, the unit offers an engaging environment for skilled professionals committed to excellence in patient care.

Job Details:

  • Location: Savannah, Georgia
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts with call, starting on 08/31/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; 3 years of experience in critical care and interventional radiology, including stroke and trauma management; proven expertise in angio/IR procedures such as Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high-acuity, trauma, and stroke center environment; ability to perform complex vascular procedures.
  • Patient Population: High-acuity with trauma, stroke, and vascular interventions; patient ratio 1:1.
  • Unit Description: Dedicated Angiography / Interventional Radiology unit with a 3-bed capacity, hybrid OR, and advanced equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream. Staffed by a team including Lead Tech, RN, ARRT / RTR, and RCIS, typically forming 3-4 person teams.
  • Unit Policies and Guidelines: Candidates should be prepared to adhere to site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Additional Information: The unit boasts of recent equipment upgrades, a team with extensive experience, and a supportive environment capable of fostering professional growth.
