Description

Job Summary:
The location is in Hilo, Hawaii. This Nuclear Medicine Technologist role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures and treatments in a comprehensive cancer center. The position requires independent performance of radiation therapy treatments, simulations, treatment planning, and fabrication of specialized treatment aides, adhering to physician prescriptions and instructions. Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan and the ability to assess patient data are essential. Proficiency on a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA electronic medical record system is required. The position involves working on rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Details:

  • Location: Hilo, Hawaii
  • Shift: Rotating shifts, with work on weekends and holidays
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist, current ARRT (Radiation Therapy), BLS certification, and at least 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist or specialist experience. Candidate must have Hawaii license by the start of the assignment and be able to arrive by the Thursday before the start date for mandatory employee health appointments.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and ARIA electronic medical record systems.
