Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This role involves working in a two-room cath lab performing interventional cardiovascular and radiology procedures. The technologist will scrub, monitor, and circulate cases, with a focus on coronary, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures, supporting cardiology and IR teams during scheduled shifts.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per day, with a schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday.
- Schedule: 10 hours per day, 4 days a week, with on-call duties Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM and Friday through Sunday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 AM.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (American Heart Association); minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist; candidates must be licensed to submit and have experience in cardiac or radiology procedures. Local candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility will be considered.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of IR and cardiac procedures, scrub and general x-ray skills, familiarity with EMR systems Cerner and Merge.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for cardiac and interventional radiology cases; supporting cardiology and IR teams during procedures; occasionally assisting with 1:1 sitter help.
- EMR/Equipment: Cerner and Merge systems used for charting and documentation.
- On-Call Requirements: On-call rotation includes weekday evenings and weekends, with a call response time of 30 minutes.
- Orientation: First-week orientation followed by unit-specific training with assigned CBTs and completion of an orientation binder.
- Additional Information: Must note if previously employed by Marshfield, with an end date at least 6 months prior. All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
- Shift Notes: Position includes working in a high-volume cath lab supporting cardiac and IR procedures, with specific on-call shifts including holidays and weekend coverage.
