Job Summary:
Radiology Technologist (Interventional Radiology) in Bismarck, North Dakota. This position involves assisting radiologists during procedures, managing room coordination, scheduling, coding, and post-procedure film processing with charting and billing. The role requires working primarily during daytime hours within a hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARRT(R) certification, BLS certification, North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration, 3+ years of interventional radiology technologist experience.
- Schedule: 8-hour days, with the possibility of finishing cases if started late. Call required, approximately 10 days or less per month, roughly 2 days a week depending on schedules for weekly call.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT(R), BLS Certification, North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration, 3+ years of interventional radiology technologist experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience.
- Specific equipment used in the unit/dept.: Electronic EMR (Epic), Sectra Pacs, Toshiba Interventional Radiology Machine, Siemens Ultrasound Unit.
- Department Details: Two fluoroscopy rooms, CT scanner utilization, two ultrasound rooms.
- Additional Information: The candidate must badge in and out at the facility, wear hospital-provided scrubs, and complete EMR training covering general equipment and protocols. Floating to other units such as CT is expected. The department operates under a trauma level 2 care setting within an acute care division.
