Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician) position located in Fort Pierce, Florida. This role involves performing echocardiogram procedures in a hospital unit dedicated to cardiac imaging. The technician will support the cardiac department in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift with 10 hours shifts, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification as Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Basic Life Support (BLS), 1-3 years of experience with neonate to geriatric patients
• Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s): Complete 2D echocardiogram studies
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Unit has 2 beds with a staff of 7.
  • No overnight shifts; evening shifts consist of 1-2 staff members.
  • Call requirements of 3-7 nights per month.
  • Uses GE equipment with Meditech Expanse documentation system.
  • Dress code: Scrub color Ciel blue.
  • The role involves functioning well independently and completing studies efficiently, often in less than 45 minutes per patient.
